Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist III Site Lead in Oak Lawn, IL, on a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–6:30 PM) with rotational weekends (7:00 AM–2:00 PM). This leadership role directs daily activity at PSC/IOP sites, draws blood, ensures accuracy, and collaborates with Sales, IT, Billing, and Logistics to meet complex test orders.

The position requires five years of phlebotomy experience, strong customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Five years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel to multiple PSC/IOP locations with short notice.
• English language proficiency required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Verify orders using lab systems.
• Enter patient data and test orders accurately.
• Manage billing information and protect card data.
• Perform specimen processing and labeling.
• Maintain logs and assist with inventories.
• Provide onboarding and mentorship to new staff.
