Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Guilford, CT seeks a Phlebotomist II Site Lead to guide daily PSC operations Monday to Friday 6:30 AM–3:30 PM with rotational weekends, ensuring quality specimen collection and patient experience.

The role leads a Patient Service Center/IOP team, mentors staff, maintains safety and accuracy, collaborates with territory managers, and supports SOP adherence while delivering compassionate, efficient service.

Qualifications

Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and cover PSCs/Iop locations.

Responsibilities

Collect specimens according to established procedures.
Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
Data entry and processing specimens including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing.
Perform POC testing at sites where needed and complete training/competency evaluations.
Mentor and resource for new employees on-site and provide regular input to group lead or supervisor.
