Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Sr. Site Lead Phlebotomist Representative in Plano, TX. The role emphasizes professional phlebotomy, patient safety, and on-site leadership at a busy PSC or IO site.

The candidate should have at least three years of phlebotomy experience and a phlebotomy certification, with a High School diploma or equivalent. Weekend rotation may be required, and a competitive hourly rate is offered.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections following established procedures for a variety of tests, including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Obtain patient identification and signatures to confirm specimen labeling accuracy. Perform data entry as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and storage as required by test order.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify all written and electronic orders by utilizing lab technology systems or directory of services.
• Communicate professionally with clients to resolve, refer, and/or document problems and report critical issues as they occur.
• Provide exemplary professional, respectful, and efficient service to all patients and clients and address patient questions.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming collection environment and handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
