This role performs venipuncture, plasmapheresis, and machine operation, ensuring donor safety, quality plasma, and compliance with SOPs. We value customer service, accuracy, and the ability to work daytime/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and ability to follow written and verbal protocol.
• Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
• English reading, writing and comprehension required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State-specific certification/licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain high level of customer service and donor experience.
• Keep work area clean and professional.
• Verify donor identification and confidentiality.
• Set up equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis.
• Label units and samples accurately.
• Perform venipunctures and plasma collection safely.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and address alarms/events.
• Monitor donor safety and plasma product quality.
• Dispose of biohazardous waste and clean equipment.
• Calibrate/maintain machines daily/weekly/monthly.
• Report unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain inventory and replenish supplies.
• Drive training efficiencies and troubleshoot alarms.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
