Cardinal Health is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to guide the pharmacy operations team, ensuring accurate prescription processing and adherence to regulatory requirements. You will supervise technicians, provide training, and monitor productivity to support high-quality patient care.

Remote work is available; the role emphasizes staff development, process improvement, and cross-team collaboration. A Florida Pharmacy Technician License and 4+ years of related experience are preferred.

Competenze

• 4+ years of related experience, preferred.
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License.
• Experience leading, mentoring, training, or guiding team members.
• Experience working in a retail, specialty, mail-order, long‑term care, or similar pharmacy environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience training and developing pharmacy staff, preferred.

Mansioni

• Serve as the primary point of contact for pharmacy technicians and support daily operations.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members.
• Monitor productivity, workflow performance, and quality metrics to meet goals.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback; escalate concerns to leadership.
• Support staffing and scheduling, including PTO management and coverage planning.
• Complete operational audits, documentation, and reports on team/workflow performance.
• Monitor prescription processing queues and ensure timely completion of orders and refills.
• Perform pharmacy technician duties including prescription processing, billing support, and order entry.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support continuity of care and resolve issues.
