Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Remote Pharmacy Technician to support order processing and medication delivery for patients served by our pharmacy operations.

You will assist pharmacists, input prescription data, and communicate with patients, providers, and clinics to ensure timely fulfillment. This full-time remote position requires a quiet home workspace, reliable high-speed internet, and Ohio registration or national certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years in mail order or retail pharmacy preferred.
• Registered in Ohio or Certified Pharmacy Technician; active certification in good standing.
• Insurance billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls to set up orders with providers and patients.
• Input patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy system.
• Assist the Pharmacist in filling prescriptions and transfer prescriptions where permitted.
• Review insurance coverage and adjudicate claims for patient orders.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable pharmacy laws and communicate professionally with customers.

Skills

1-2 years mail order/retail experience

Insurance billing experience

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Ohio state registration or Certified Pharmacy Technician
