Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists and support daily pharmacy operations in a customer-focused environment. You will enter patient and drug data, fill prescriptions, and help manage inventory under supervision.

Responsibilities include processing third-party claims, handling clerical tasks, and maintaining compliance with company policies while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy practice per policy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; check interactions.
• Support inventory management and clerical duties; assist in Rx KPI reviews.
• Process manual claims and resubmissions for third-party prescription services.
• Provide customer assistance and guidance in-store; direct to OTC products.
• Maintain store policy compliance and professional relationships with healthcare providers.
