Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and in related Pharmacy Department duties. You will operate pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and coach technicians and cashiers in daily operations.

You will also engage customers, ensure accurate dispensing, support inventory management, and help maintain workflow while upholding Walgreens policies and the Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and in pharmacy department duties.
• Operate pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians and cashiers.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory, scheduling, and workflow.
