Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in a supporting role under the supervision of the pharmacist. You will enter patient data, count and pour medications, and help manage prescriptions and workflow.

Responsibilities include error reporting, assisting with inventory, and maintaining compliance with Good Faith Dispensing policies. This role supports patient care and requires exactness and teamwork in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision of pharmacist.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems accurately.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications.
• Verify medicines and check for possible interactions.
• Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to policies.
