Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision of the pharmacist and in accordance with policy.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and ensure accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs; verify medicine and check for interactions.
• Assist with scheduling and maintaining workflow; report prescription errors.
• Lead inventory management activities and support KPI reviews with management.
