Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Department under supervision of the Pharmacist. You will enter patient data, fill prescriptions, and assist with inventory while delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities include processing third-party claims, stocking meds, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Experience in retail or hospital pharmacy and active immunization certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy practice under supervision of the pharmacist.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and fill prescriptions.
• Support inventory management and store procurement of pharmaceuticals.
• Process manual third-party claims promptly.
• Provide customer service and guide patients to OTC products.
