Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacy team under pharmacist supervision. You will enter patient and drug information, count and pour medications, verify accuracy, and support prescription processing and third-party claims with attention to detail.

You will help maintain inventory, stock supplies, and provide friendly customer service, helping customers locate OTC items and answer questions, while upholding Walgreens standards and policies.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by counting and pouring medications.
• Identify potential drug interactions and verify medicine.
• Lead inventory management and stock control.
