Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in daily operations. Under supervision, you will enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, assist customers, manage inventory, and help deliver a high-quality customer experience.

You will also engage with the local medical community and support clinical services as required. Experience includes a year in a retail or hospital setting, certification, and willingness to work flexible

Qualifications

• Must have PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists by entering patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Count, pour, and verify medications and check for possible interactions.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and assist with cash register activities.
• Support pharmacy staff in coordinating clinical services and outreach when needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures and ensure accuracy and compliance.
