Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians and cashiers in system use.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist in scheduling and maintaining workflow; enter patient and drug information; verify medicine accuracy and possible interactions.
• Maintain inventory and support pharmacy manager with financial, customer service and KPI reviews.
