Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, manage patient and drug information, and process prescriptions. You will help coach technicians, operate pharmacy systems, and support cashier duties while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

The role requires a year of pharmacy tech experience, fluent English, and willingness to work evenings/weekends. Immunization certification readiness within 90 days is expected, with Walgreens experience a plus.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: prior Walgreens experience; basic math skills; basic PC skills; knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsabilités

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision.
• Operate pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians and cashiers as needed.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience; greet and assist customers and patients.
• Lead pharmacy department inventory management and participate in KPI reviews with management.
• Support maintenance of compliance with pharmacy policies and quality standards.
