Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Department under pharmacist supervision. You will enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and help manage workflow and inventory to ensure accurate dispensing and efficient service.

Required qualifications include PTCB or ExCPT certification and at least 1 year of pharmacy tech experience, fluency in English, and willingness to work evenings/weekends. Immunization certification within 90 days may be required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except where prohibited).
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision by the pharmacist and store manager in pharmacy operations.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems, ensuring accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications and verify accuracy.
• Assist with scheduling and maintaining workflow in the Pharmacy Department.
• Lead inventory management activities and support KPI reviews with management.
