Job summary

Required qualifications include PTCB/ExCPT certification and at least one year of retail/hospital pharmacy experience, with fluency in English and willingness to work evenings/weekends. Immunization certification may be required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except where protected).

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy practice under supervision, handling patient and drug data.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, pouring drugs and verifying accuracy.
• Support inventory management and warehouse overages/shortages tracking.
• Communicate prescription issues to pharmacist and participate in quality improvement.
• Develop relationships with medical providers and assist clinical services.
