Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in a retail setting. You will enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, verify accuracy, and check for interactions while delivering excellent customer service.

You will lead inventory, process claims, support clinical services, and help maintain store operations. Requires PTCB/ExCPT certification, 1 year experience, and fluent English; able to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist by entering patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs.
• Verify medicine and check for possible interactions.
• Lead Pharmacy Department inventory management activities and manage stock.
• Process (corrects and resubmits) manual third-party claims.
• Handle cash register duties and assist customers at the OTC aisles.
• Support clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers.
