Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, processing claims, and supporting clinical services. You will help manage inventory, coordinate with healthcare providers, and assist customers with pickups and product locations.

The role requires PTCB or ExCPT certification, at least 1 year of pharmacy tech experience, and fluency in English. Flexible hours including evenings/weekends are expected, with immunization certification pursued within 90 days

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except where prohibited).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing and patient service under supervision.
• Process (corrects and resubmits) pharmacy claims for third-party programs.
• Lead inventory management activities: ordering, receiving, storing pharmaceuticals.
• Support clinical services and coordination with Walgreens healthcare providers.
• Provide customer service support, guidance, and pickup program assistance.
