Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate patient records. You will operate pharmacy systems, assist with inventory, and help patients with prescriptions and OTC products.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year of pharmacy tech experience (retail or hospital), PTCB/ExCPT certification, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Immunization certification may be required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.
• Basic computer skills to operate pharmacy software and POS systems.
• Willing to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring meds and verifying accuracy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with scheduling and workflow within the Pharmacy Department.
• Handle customer inquiries and support cash register transactions and OTC assistance.
• Maintain inventory including ordering, unpacking, storing, and tracking pharmaceuticals.
• Support clinical services and coordination with Walgreens healthcare providers.
