Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Department under pharmacist supervision. You will enter patient data, fill prescriptions, check interactions, and help with inventory, billing, and customer service in a fast-paced store setting in New York.

Requirements include PTCB or ExCPT certification (except certain regions), 1 year of relevant experience, and a willingness to work evenings/weekends. Immunization certification may be needed within 90 days of hire.

Formación

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsabilidades

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Under the supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy and ensure accurate billing and dispensing processes.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and fill prescriptions with accuracy.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceuticals.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in analyzing performance data and improving service metrics.
• Coordinate clinical services and healthcare provider outreach as needed.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain professional relationships with coworkers.
