Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in patient care and prescription processing. You will assist with dispensing, data entry, inventory, and customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates will have PTCB/ExCPT certification, one year of experience, and a willingness to work evenings/weekends while maintaining accuracy and compliance with policy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Minimum one year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions and verifying accuracy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and manage third-party claims.
• Support inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and stocking supplies.
• Guide customers to OTC products and provide service until needs are met.
• Maintain compliance with company policy and Good Faith Dispensing where applicable.
