Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate counting and dosing of medications.
• Good computer skills for pharmacy systems and record keeping.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is a plus.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy according to policy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and cash registers.
• Provide a distinctive customer experience and resolve issues.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately and verify medicines for interactions.
• Assist with inventory management and reorder shipments.
• Support pharmacy staff in scheduling and workflow.
