Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in fulfilling prescriptions and managing daily pharmacy operations. Under supervision, you will enter patient information, count and pour medications, and help customers locate products while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

The role requires PTCB/ExCPT certification and at least one year of retail or hospital pharmacy experience, with a willingness to work a flexible schedule and obtain immunization certification within 90

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in entering patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs and verify accuracy.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist with workflow and clerical tasks.
• Handle customer interactions at the counter and guide them to OTC products.
• Participate in inventory management and coordination of clinical services as needed.
