Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP in Boston seeks a Principal to oversee audit engagements, with a focus on Public Housing Authority (PHA) and HUD work, leading staff and developing new client relationships.

You will manage engagements from planning to completion, meet annual sales goals, and contribute to the firm’s growth through strong technical expertise and professional leadership. CPA required with 9+ years in public accounting; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license required.
• Ability to manage a fee base of at least $1,000,000 as Principal-1; strong verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrates professional judgment, time management, and ability to lead and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage client engagements from planning to completion with minimal supervision.
• Supervise and mentor staff at all levels; evaluate performance and provide development opportunities.
• Identify and pursue new clients; meet annual sales goals and contribute to business development.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships through professionalism and responsiveness.
• Participate in conferences, publications, recruiting events, and trainings to promote the firm.
