Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a PET Technologist to support the Mesquite location. The role involves performing PET imaging procedures, QA, data handling, and collaborating with medical leadership on technical issues.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology with PET.
• Three to five years nuclear medicine experience; PET experience preferred.
• CNMT and/or ARRT(N) certification and state licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic PET imaging procedures including injections, protocol setup and image acquisition.
• Assist in scheduling and front office functions to maintain workflow.
• Ensure accurate patient demographics, report distribution and file integrity.
• Collect clinical data for follow-up and develop teaching materials.
• Maintain safety standards and conduct daily quality control on scanners.
• Report malfunctions to appropriate service personnel.
• Manage patient data and films including archiving and transfers.
