Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist for the Round Rock location. The role supports PET imaging procedures, patient scheduling, data management, and QA with guidance from Medical Director and management.

The ideal candidate will have a Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology degree, PET-CT certification, and CNMT/ARRT(N) credentials, plus experience in nuclear medicine and PET workflows. This position offers growth across levels 1, 2, or Sr based on experience.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology from an AMA-accredited program and PET-CT certification.
• Minimum three to five years experience in nuclear medicine and/or PET exposure preferred.
• CNMT and/or ARRT(N) certification and state licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic PET imaging procedures including injection of radiopharmaceuticals and IV contrast, protocol setup, patient positioning and image reconstruction.
• Assists in procedure scheduling and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.
• Maintains daily quality control measures to monitor scanner performance and safety standards.
