Job summary

Texas Oncology in Round Rock, TX seeks a PET/CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The role may be Level 1, 2 or Sr based on experience, with responsibilities spanning PET imaging, data management, and QA.

Ideal candidates hold Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology degrees, PET-CT certification, CNMT/ARRT, and state licensure where applicable, with prior PET experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology with PET-CT certification.
• CNMT and/or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure where applicable.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in nuclear medicine or PET imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic PET imaging procedures including injection, protocol setup, positioning, reconstruction and image archiving.
• Assist in scheduling and front office tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure accuracy of patient demographics, report distribution and files.
• Maintain safety standards and conduct daily QA for scanner performance.
• Manage patient data, films, archiving and network transfers.
