Job summary

Texas Oncology in Mesquite, TX is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our team. This role supports the Mesquite location and can be filled at Level 1, 2, or Sr based on experience.

The PET Technologist performs imaging procedures, ensures safety, manages data and archiving, and collaborates with medical directors and staff to maintain quality and compliance across the imaging workflow.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology with PET-CT certification.
• 3–5 years experience in nuclear medicine; PET experience preferred.
• CNMT and/or ARRT(N) certification and state licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs PET imaging procedures, including injection, protocol setup, patient positioning, imaging, and archiving.
• Assists with scheduling and front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensures accuracy of patient demographics, reports, and file handling.
• Maintains safety and performs daily quality control on scanner performance.
• Manages patient data and films, including printing, archiving, transfers.
