Job summary

SCA Health, part of Optum, seeks a Registered Nurse for perioperative and PACU care across multiple facilities. You will assess patients before and after procedures, monitor cardiovascular, respiratory and neurological status, and help develop individualized care plans in line with facility policies.

Responsibilities include safe med administration, pain management, wound care, patient education, and clear hand-offs. Active nursing license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Nursing graduate with an active state license.
• Experience in pre-/post-operative nursing or PACU required.
• Certifications in BLS/BCLS, ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support perioperative mission and values.
• Assess preoperative and postoperative status per policy.
• Interpret monitors and maintain physiological stability.
• Develop and implement a perianesthesia plan of care.
• Administer medications safely and manage pain.
• Provide patient education and ensure safe hand-offs.
