Job summary

MRINetwork is recruiting for a Director of Perioperative Services in Detroit, MI. This senior leader will oversee all surgical and perioperative areas, driving safe, efficient operations, staffing, budgets, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and executive teams to advance growth, quality, and patient outcomes within a nationally recognized healthcare system. A master’s degree and RN licensure in Michigan are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required (Nursing, Business, Health Care Administration, or related field).
• 7+ years of progressively responsible clinical experience.
• Active RN license in the state of Michigan.
• May include combined clinical & leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for all surgical and perioperative departments (ORs, Pre-Op, PACU, Sterile Processing, and related areas).
• Ensure safe, efficient, high-quality surgical operations with staffing, budgets, and performance metrics management.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing leadership, and executives to drive performance and best practices.
