Job summary

The Detroit Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Director OR - Operating Room to lead Perioperative Services at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, MI. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, you will oversee OR operations, drive quality patient outcomes, and align staffing and budgets with strategic goals.

Ideal candidates hold a master's degree, 7+ years of clinical or management experience, and an active Michigan RN license.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing, Business, Health Care Administration or related field.
Seven years of progressively more responsible clinical or management experience.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan.

Responsibilities

Lead Perioperative Services and oversee OR operations.
Drive policy development and standard work measures; coordinate capital planning and budget.
Manage recruitment, retention, and staff development to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission requirements and hospital policies.
