Homeland Talent Solutions, partnering with a regional healthcare system, seeks a Director of Surgical Services to lead perioperative operations, drive efficiency, and partner with physicians to advance surgical excellence.

The role oversees ORs, ambulatory surgery, PACU, and central sterile, with a focus on staffing, budgeting, quality, and capital projects. Requires RN license and 5+ years in perioperative leadership; salary up to $170,000 plus bonus and relocation.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership experience as a Director of Surgical Services or similar perioperative role.
• Proven leadership of large perioperative departments in an acute care hospital.
• Strong budgeting, contracts, capital planning, and operational performance experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with physicians and executives.
• Excellent communication and decisive, collaborative leadership.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership for all perioperative services, including ORs, ASC, Pre-Admission Testing, Same Day Surgery, PACU, and Central Sterile Processing.
• Drive operational excellence by optimizing staffing, productivity, call coverage, and resource utilization.
• Partner with physicians, nursing leaders, and executive leadership to grow the surgical program.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, patient safety standards, infection prevention, and clinical best practices.
• Mentor and develop department leaders while fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Lead process improvements, standardize workflows, and implement new technologies and systems.
• Oversee contracts, vendor relationships, equipment utilization, and supply management.
• Support capital projects, including Sterile modernization and instrument-tracking systems.
• Identify opportunities to expand surgical volume and strengthen physician partnerships.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence while delivering high-quality patient care and strong financial performance.
