Job summary

DC Government seeks a senior PeopleSoft HCM specialist to lead the upgrade of the HCM module and support modernization efforts for OCFO Finance and Budgets Systems. The role blends technical development with business process design in a government setting.

Responsibilities include defining system requirements, advising on Payroll and Position Management, and guiding ERP integrations with Oracle Cloud or Oracle EBS. A bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM upgrade and Payroll modules.
• Knowledge of ERP integrations (Oracle Cloud / Oracle EBS) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with government financial systems and budgeting processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the PeopleSoft HCM upgrade project for DC Government.
• Provide SME guidance on Payroll, Commitment Accounting and Position Management.
• Analyze requirements and translate into system specifications.
• Consult on complex projects considering business implications of technology.
• Support data extraction, translation and load programs; integrate ERP systems.
