Job summary

The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS) seeks a motivated Peoplesoft HCM Senior Developer to support the HRCMS – Oracle/PeopleSoft HR and Payroll. You will join a skilled Enterprise Application Services Team delivering complex hybrid architectures on-premise and cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes application development, configuration, and cross-functional collaboration, with strong focus on payroll, data conversion, interfaces, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience as a developer on complex systems.
• Proficient in PeopleSoft HCM module.
• Proficient in Oracle/PeopleSoft development tools: Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, SQR, Shell Scripting, Data Mover; Oracle database management: Query tuning, development, PL/SQL; Application Change Assistant and Image development life cycle.
• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM is highly desirable; experience supporting or participating in PeopleSoft HCM to Workday migration or modernization is preferred.
• Experience enabling, supporting, data conversions, interfaces, reporting solutions and end-to-end testing for enterprise HCM systems.
• Familiar with ITIL framework and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Configure, design, and develop enhancements to the PeopleSoft HCM application.
• Stay abreast of new releases and patches.
• Independently work end-to-end from design to production migration and communicate across teams.
• Handle customer requests promptly within SLA.
• Support on-call duties for 24/7 applications.
• Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Provide technical support to analysts in production support or fit-gap sessions.
• Collaborate to ensure development aligns with user specs and perform follow-ups.
• Advise management on administrative and operational system issues.
