Atlas Technologies is seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Developer – Global Payroll to join our IT team. The role emphasizes hands-on development, integration across HCM, Payroll, and Financials, and strong SAFe delivery experience.

The ideal candidate will lead technical tasks, mentor teammates, and collaborate with functional groups to deliver scalable enterprise solutions in a fast-paced government contracting environment. Remote work is available for eligible US residents.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Public Trust or DoD clearance with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Security+ or IAT Level 2 certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of PeopleSoft development across HCM, Financials, and/or Campus Solutions.
• Expert-level experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and Component Interface.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft security and performance tuning.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid UI and accessibility compliance.
• Ability to lead development tasks and mentor team members.
• Experience working in SAFe delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test the PeopleSoft Global Payroll rules engine and tailor software.
• Integrate PeopleSoft Global Payroll with existing PeopleSoft HCM solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain customizations across HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Financials, and Campus Solutions.
• Develop components using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, CI, and Event Mapping.
• Collaborate with analysts and functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot performance, data integrity issues, and system bugs across modules.
• Apply security best practices and manage user roles/permissions.
• Support batch scheduling, job streams, and workflow automation.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demonstrations.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment packages.
