Job summary

Asana, based in Chicago, is seeking a People Partner to act as a strategic HR leader supporting the AMER Sales team and CMO. The role focuses on talent transformation, change management, and data-driven decision making to align people initiatives with business outcomes.

You’ll partner with senior leaders to drive organizational strategy, navigate ambiguity, and champion a culture of collaboration and impact across functions and regions.

Qualifications

• Typically bring 6-8 years of HR experience with a strategic HRBP/Organizational Consultant background.
• Subject matter expert in navigating large-scale organizational change and influencing without authority.
• Versatile communicator comfortable in complex spreadsheets and C-suite conversations.
• Independent problem solver able to drive large cross-functional projects with minimal direction.
• Collaborative partner who works with HR Centers of Expertise to ensure holistic, data-backed recommendations.
• Analytic mindset with focus on identifying and mitigating data-driven biases.
• Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies to boost productivity.
• M&A experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic partnership by building department-level talent strategies aligned with business outcomes.
• Identify root issues in complex situations, present findings, and socialize change with senior stakeholders.
• Lead change management with senior leaders, develop scalable strategies, and champion the vision.
• Advise functional leads as a trusted partner, guiding complex people situations.
• Interpret complex people data to identify trends and translate into actionable decisions.
• Influence at scale by participating in headcount and strategic planning discussions.
