Job summary

Hawkwood partners with an AI-native company to transform how medicines are discovered, and leads the Boston People function from a pivotal growth stage.

You will be the sole People Partner for Boston, working closely with a C-suite executive and local leadership to shape growth plans, operating models and leadership capability across the US. This hybrid role is Boston-based with global collaboration across Europe.

Qualifications

• Significant People Partnering or HR leadership experience in high-growth tech or healthtech.
• Global cross-border project experience with diverse teams.
• Experience building a People function or launching a new site.
• Credibility to partner with C-suite and senior leaders.
• Strong skills in organisational design, coaching and change management.
• Able to switch between strategy and hands-on delivery.
• Knowledge of US employment law; MA experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the sole People Partner for Boston, working with a C-suite executive and the local leadership team.
• Shape the organisation’s growth plans, operating model and leadership capability.
• Coach senior leaders and first-time managers on organisational design, performance, team effectiveness and change.
• Build a connected culture and consistent ways of working across the US and Europe, ensuring Boston is integrated with the wider business.
• Operate with the agility of an early-stage company while navigating global stakeholder complexity.
