Job summary

VRChat Inc. is seeking a Senior People Generalist to run on a remote, globally distributed People Ops function. You will partner with managers, own onboarding through offboarding, and drive data-driven HR programs across engagement, performance cycles, and policy updates.

You will implement AI tools, build scalable documentation, and ensure trusted, human-centered people operations. You will support multiple regions, craft scalable processes, and enable managers with resources while fostering

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience in generalist/HRBP/People Ops roles
• Sound judgment in employment law and employee relations fundamentals
• Comfort owning a People Ops stack
• Strong analytical skills with spreadsheets and reporting tools
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in HR work
• Experience supporting globally distributed teams across multiple regions/models
• Fast and iterative; ability to ship a v1 and improve

Responsibilities

• Be a day-to-day partner for managers on people questions, team dynamics, and coaching needs
• Own core people processes end to end: onboarding, offboarding, benefits, compliance, HR systems
• Identify and implement workflow automations and AI tools for leverage
• Own internal communications across People programs and policy updates
• Own the operational layer of performance cycles: setup, timelines, completion tracking
• Build manager enablement resources and be the first point of contact for day-to-day questions
• Lead employee engagement surveys, data analysis, and drive changes from feedback
• Build and maintain people dashboards and deliver insight-led summaries from data
• Assist Recruiting with coordination and candidate experience
