Job summary

WTW in Saint Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Retirement Risk Management consultant to lead pension risk transfer and funding strategy projects for defined benefit plans, delivering strategic insights to sponsor clients.

You will manage multi-phase engagements, develop statements of work and budgets, mentor junior team members, present complex analyses to executives, and contribute to new business opportunities while upholding quality and client service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of defined benefit plan management in a consulting environment.
• Experience in pension risk transfer assessment or placement preferred.
• Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• ASA and/or EA; FSA, CERA & CFA credentials encouraged.
• Experience delivering retirement consulting services to a broad range of organizations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality work on time.
• Strong client relationships and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide value-added consulting on settlement strategy and large projects.
• Understand capital market environment and its impact on pension financials.
• Serve as a resource on pension risk transfer market developments.
• Present complex analyses to senior internal and client audiences.
• Lead multi-phase projects, manage client financials, and delegate to associates.
• Develop statements of work, project plans, and budgets.
• Mentor junior project team associates and contribute to new tools.
• Support business development and client engagement for pension risk transfers.
