Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant QC programs, prepare for PCI audits, and resolve complex prestressed concerns. The role requires PCI QC Certification Level III and substantial supervision experience across multiple plants.

The position involves auditing supplier plants, qualifying precast suppliers, and guiding Level I and II inspectors, with travel between facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III is required.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC, including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies and qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
