Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector III to lead quality control across multiple precast and prestressed plants. You will establish QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits and DOT approvals, and supervise Level I/II inspectors.

The role requires PCI Level III certification and at least 6+ years’ prestressed QC experience, with strong interaction with managers and inspectors. Expect travel for audits and per-diem assignments, and a focus on maintaining certification

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies and qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
