Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant QC programs, prepare facilities for PCI certification audits, and resolve complex structural questions on prestressed products. You will supervise inspectors and audit supplier plants to ensure compliance with PCI and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III (current) and 6+ years in precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast/specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting audits; credible with plant managers and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies and qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
