Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III, the senior quality authority responsible for establishing plant QC programs, preparing for PCI audits, and resolving complex prestressed product issues.

The role includes supervising Level I and II inspectors, auditing supplier plants, and ensuring compliance with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements, with travel between plants.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III is required.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Experience with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
