Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to act as the senior authority on precast and prestressed work. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare facilities for PCI audits, and resolve structural questions with the engineer of record.

You will lead and develop Level I and II inspectors, audit supplier plants for owners and agencies, and ensure compliance with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements. Expect plant duty hours with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
