Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Payroll Tax Processor to lead complex tax defect resolution across notices, corrections and amendments. This role emphasizes technical leadership, coaching, and end-to-end case ownership to improve customer outcomes.

The Senior Payroll Tax SME will file amended returns, resolve multi-jurisdiction issues, and mentor team members while maintaining compliance and high accuracy.

Qualifications

• 4+ years payroll tax experience focused on tax defect resolution.
• Experience with notice responses, amended returns, and multi-state corrections.
• Proven ability to draft agency responses with supporting docs.

Responsabilités

• Resolve complex state and federal payroll tax notices across cases.
• Prepare and file amended Federal/State returns (941-X, W-2c) across states.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors and drive correction workflows to closure.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, sharing resolution knowledge.
• Draft SOPs/KB articles and improve processes via root-cause analysis.
