Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to serve as a SME for end-to-end payroll tax issue resolution. You will own complex notices, amendments, and corrections across multiple states while mentoring less experienced staff.

This remote role offers flexible hours with overtime eligibility and requires strong expertise in payroll tax law, notice responses, and cross-functional collaboration to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in payroll tax with focus on tax defect resolution and notices.
• Experience drafting penalty abatements and agency responses with documentation.
• Proven ability to prepare amended Federal and State returns across multiple states.

Responsabilités

• Resolve complex payroll tax notices across multiple states and quarters.
• Prepare and file amended returns (941-X, state equivalents) end-to-end.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors and drive correction workflows to resolution.
• Maintain high productivity with accurate corrections for notices and amendments.
• Coach and mentor Senior Processors; share knowledge and improve team capability.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams.
