Intuit is seeking a Lead Tax Processor and Subject Matter Expert to drive payroll tax operations, own SOPs and knowledge base content, and resolve the most complex tax issues across multiple states. The role includes formal coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and governance over procedures while maintaining strong compliance and audit trails.

The position is a virtual, hourly non-exempt role with overtime eligibility, offering flexible hours and the potential to scale from 20 to 40 hours

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with complex tax defect resolution and multi-state filings.
• Experience coaching or mentoring staff in nuanced resolution scenarios.
• Advanced writing skills for SOPs and technical documents.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary real-time technical expert for TP1, TP2, and TP3 staff and coach resolution paths.
• Own authoring, review, and approval of SOPs and KB articles across core operations.
• Conduct quarterly coaching sessions using SBIC feedback model to close skill gaps.
• Lead team huddles, QA sessions, and stand-up backups when needed.
• Oversee WIP, backlog reduction, and aging reports; advise staffing adjustments.
