Job summary

TridentCare seeks an experienced Payroll Administrator to oversee multi-state payroll operations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will administer UKG Payroll and Dimensions, analyze data, and lead year-end activities such as W-2 processing.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in progressive payroll roles, strong Excel and reporting skills, and a track record of implementing process improvements and controls within HR/payroll functions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience with multi-state payroll administration.
• Experience administering payroll systems, preferably UKG Payroll and UKG Dimensions.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour requirements, garnishments, and payroll compliance practices.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and auditing functions.
• Experience creating and analyzing reports through BI or similar reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee the accurate and timely processing of multi-state payroll operations.
• Analyze payroll data, earnings, deductions, taxes, and employee records to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Interpret payroll laws and regulations and provide guidance regarding payroll-related compliance matters.
• Serve as the primary resource for complex payroll issues, escalations, and exception processing.
• Review and approve payroll adjustments, off-cycle payments, termination payments, and special payroll transactions.
• Monitor payroll controls and identify areas of risk, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
• Participate in year-end payroll activities including W-2 processing, corrections, tax reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.
