Job summary

Trinidad Benham is seeking a Payroll Administrator to lead accurate, timely payroll for a multi-state workforce and to serve as the payroll subject matter expert. You will handle data integrity, tax compliance, timekeeping support, and payroll inquiries in a collaborative HR/Finance environment.

The role emphasizes process improvement, audits, and working with HRIS systems (Dayforce, Paylocity, UKG, Workday). A strong Excel skill set and high integrity are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of multi-state payroll administration experience.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, HR, or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• Demonstrated experience processing high-volume payrolls.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems such as Dayforce, Paylocity, UKG, Workday.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax reporting and wage-and-hour compliance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, auditing skills.
• Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls accurately and compliantly for a multi-state workforce.
• Enter, validate, and maintain payroll data including rates, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
• Review time records and reports to resolve discrepancies before processing.
• Process manual checks and off-cycle payrolls and maintain records.
• Research and resolve payroll inquiries and support HR, Finance, and managers.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end payroll reconciliations and audits.
